ABOUT

My Story

Growing up under the shadow of my narcissistic father, I was in a fog of confusion for the longest time. It was only in my 50s when the puzzle pieces started to fall into place – my self-doubt was a product of manipulative brainwashing. This was a mental assault, echoing the tactics used in torture camps. I felt less like a loved child and more like a puppet for my parents to control.

Unfortunately, my marital life mirrored my upbringing as I found myself wedded to another narcissist. His refusal to wear his wedding ring was a chilling reminder of my father’s similar disregard for commitment. When I finally broke free, I learned of his sinister wish to have trapped me through pregnancy. But the real clincher was his success in convincing my parents of his innocence, casting me as the disruptor – a classic narcissistic manipulation.

Prevention for Parents, Schools and Communities

Prevent Narcissistic Abuse before it happens by raising manipulation-resistant kids.

If you don’t teach your child about Narcissistic abuse now, how will you convince them they are marrying one later?

Kids can learn to recognize red flags like grandiosity, lack of empathy, and control tactics—while building the emotional skills to stay safe and assertive.

What’s at stake:

  • Years of lost potential for adults trapped in manipulative relationships.
  • Deep emotional toll that can leave people feeling isolated and hopeless.
  • Spillover harm to children when parents remain in abusive dynamics.

Early intervention and education are the antidote.

What parents and caregivers will learn:

  • Teach self‑worth and autonomy: Help kids anchor worth internally so they resist external manipulation.
  • Model healthy relationships: Demonstrate respectful communication, mutuality, and boundaries at home.
  • Build emotional awareness: Teach kids to name feelings and express them safely—critical for spotting manipulation.
  • Create safe spaces for conversation: Encourage open, judgment‑free dialogue so kids disclose concerns early.
  • Recognize and teach the signs: Understand traits and tactics of narcissistic abuse and show kids how to identify red flags.

Ideal audiences and formats:

  • Audiences: Parents and caregivers, educators and school leaders, youth and faith communities, pediatric/mental health providers.
  • Formats: Keynotes, workshops, school PD, parent nights, community talks, podcast interviews.
